Breathing Is Magic w/ Perrin White
Breathing might be one of the most powerful things we can do for our lymphatic and overall health. Let's get good at it!
We're welcoming back my dear friend Perrin White (Myofunctional + Speech Therapist) to the LLC to chat all things breathing, teeth, tongue, nervous system and beyond! If you're not yet familiar with Perrin's work, she's a functional breathwork educator, and founder of Breathe Well Be Well. She's uber dedicated to helping us reconnect with our bodies through intentional breathing practices. You ready to practice?

Breathing Is Magic
Fibers And Fluid | Lower Body
Our very first Fibers & Fluid class is here!
F&F is a slow flow self-care class that targets both fascia and fluid to support posture, breathing, tissue decongestion and natural drainage. Within each class, we'll be focusing on specific areas of the body (upper, abdomen, lower) using our hands, bodyweight, and an external tool of some kind. Hands get tired, inanimate objects don't!
Your F&F Self-Care Kit:
-
Soft pilates ball OR Large rolled up towel
-
1-2 therapy ball(s) OR Yoga block
-
Gua sha stone OR Wooden (or soup) spoon
-
Yoga mat
-
Pillows, blanket (optional)
We're kicking it off with the lower body. Fabulous for working with pain, tension, congestion, or dense tissue in the legs, hips, and/or pelvis and low back. I cannot wait to roll around and release with y'all!
Bring your kit with you to each F&F class. Can tune in from the bed or floor, all bodies welcome.

Lymph Layers | Nervous System
We're back with another Lymph Layers: Nervous System edition!
Every single thing we do in the lymph-love world (every pump, stretch, breath, sound) is actually a conversation with our brain... and cells.
We’re going beneath the surface (as we do) and into the electrical, responsive, beautifully protective world of the neural network that keeps our body functioning and fluids flowing.
What We'll Explore:
-
Nervous System 101 (Which branches do what?)
-
Why and how lymph flow changes depending on our state (and why forcing it doesn’t work)
-
Connections between swelling, pain, and fluid stagnation
-
How the vagus nerve influences everything from breathing to drainage pathways
-
Simple ways to shift the system so your body actually receives the work you're doing
See you (and that beautiful brain of yours) there!

EASE
Ease is an unhurried descent into a waking body. Rooted in fluid movement, breath, mobility, self-massage, and Qigong-inspired flow states, Ease invites your internal ocean to shift tides. These gentle patterns nourish joints and fascia while offering a peaceful downshift for the nervous system. Ease offers low-impact, head-to-toe movement that’s accessible seated or standing. What to bring: Come hydrated and dressed in flexible clothing. A yoga mat is recommended, and any desired pillows or props you may need to create a setup that feels safest for you.

AWAKEN
Building from the same principles as Ease, this class is meant to leave you feeling energized. Through rhythmic movement, joint stabilization, shaking, bouncing, and balance, we invite more cardiac involvement to exercise the vessels and help fluids to move more freely. Your heart rate may rise, but this isn’t conventional “exercise.” Awaken offers moderate-impact, head-to-toe movement that helps you find your edge through gentle challenge. Adaptable, but requires some balance and stamina.
What to bring: Come hydrated and dressed in flexible clothing. A yoga mat and chair/stool is recommended, and any desired pillows or props you may need to create a setup that feels safest for you.

RISE
Short, effective and surprisingly powerful, Rise is an express flow that delivers the essentials: joint movements, shaking and fluid flow in under 15 minutes, making your morning self-care even more accessible. Like the comfort and familiarity of your favorite old t-shirt, this is your shortcut to better flow throughout your busy day. Rise is a low-impact movement and moves quickly through an express drainage sequence that’s accessible seated or standing. What to bring: Come hydrated and dressed in flexible clothing. A yoga mat is recommended, and any desired pillows or props you may need to create a setup that feels safest for you.
